Hello. We had a problem last night with our bathtub overflow leaking. Our house was built in 2005 and we were unaware of this problem. We have never filled the tub to overflow before, but last night our 7-year-old took a bath and had the water to the overflow level. The water came leaking out into the two adjacent bedrooms under the baseboards on the outer block wall of the house. We spent some time trying to figure out where it was coming from and eventually discovered that the overflow pipe is not aligned with the overflow hole cut in the bathtub. There is a large gap, you can see in the picture. We are wanting advice on how to repair this gap. Thank you in advance!

The drain was set a tad to high and it is missing a gasket.
I like using toilet tank to bowl gaskets. take of the bracket, push the drain back and push a new gasket in between the overflow drain and the tub.
