Hi!
When we purchased our house it already had a bathroom rough-in in the basement. Two pipes are sticking out and one with only top of the cap visible (please see the image, I broke some concrete around it). Ideally I would like to install a 3-piece bathroom there. The blue capped pipe measures 3", the orange capped pipe that's sticking 2" and the pipe submerged in the concrete is 2".
Here are some things I'm trying to figure out:

Here are some things I'm trying to figure out:
- Which diameter pipe is better suited for the shower and which one is for the vanity? (1.5" vs 2")?
- How can I connect to the pipe that is under the concrete?
- Do I just break enough concrete and use a coupler to extend the pipe so that I can work with it?
- Will it be safe to pour the concrete over the coupler to refill the hole?

- As someone who is just learning to do these things, any important things I should keep in mind?
