Backwater valve

D1146 plastic valve is stuck. Tried a few things too loosen it but no luck. Don’t want to break the plastic. Any tools that would work that fit that groove profile.

Have you tried a hammer and chisel in those slots just tap easily

Plumbing shops have Cleanout Plug Wrench

I carried a piece of 3 and 4 in pipe that I cut out slots and put the pipe in the slots and then a pipe wrench
on the PVC pipe. Made them because there was a big run on backwater valves.

You could also cut it out and get another one
