I was just about to order a Ariston water heater. I read there warranty...
If its not installed by one of thier approved pliumbers-- no warranty--
Nothing against you pros, but I can install a WH.
So now my only other option is the marathon. At least they allow DIY.
I think the only reason there tanks may leak is the ploybutylene , since it doesn't like chlorine. My PB pipes have been fine for the last 40 years, so I don't think I'll have that trouble.
My concern is the availability of parts if needed.
Is the only way to get parts, through them ? Plus thier parts seem a little pricey... but maybe that's just the norm now.
