I have a really grotty wall that needs to be cleaned and polished. I'm planning to buy an angle grinder and use that for cleaning the bathroom walls (and for wood work - garden and metal cutting).
What fitting should I use with the Makita 9558NB - 500W continuous.

(this isn't variable speed - it's 11K RPM - do I absolutely have to get another tool? Basically I'm trying to avoid buying multiple angle grinders since my needs are many and varied but my hours are few)
I don't want to use a wire brush - it'll scratch the tiles. Wrapping the brush in a blanket and rotating will apply an unbalanced force which iI'm not dead keen on doing.
Basically I have a *lot* of surfaces that could use a good cleaning - some - taps will require a wire brush. But what about floor, ceramic fittings. I'd also like to make the tiles a little shiny.
What's the best tool for the job?
