American Standard Simple drain

I read in an article in a popular magazine about installing an American Standard's Speed connect drain in your bathroom sink. As much as i agree that it is easy to install, I found out through the hard way that when it clogs with hair and other matter, it is not easy to clean. I had to take the whole drain out to clean it. That should not be necessary. Although other types may be a little difficult to install, they are a lot easier to clean and maintain.

Yuup!! they Suck.

I don't sell AS faucets. On occasion I have installed a few that the customer provided and that had those pieces of crap with them.

I recall there was a thread awhile back about those
