Good morning,

I have a question to the forum regarding the installation of a floor mounted bath faucet and air chambers. I'm remodeling my master bathroom which is on the first floor above the basement. The old tub had a bath enclosure built around it which enclosed the water supply lines and air chambers. For the remodel I'll be installing a free standing tub with a floor mounted faucet. The air chambers are currently sticking out of the floor, but I'll need to move them under where I only have a few inches of clearance . So to cut the chase, in general, what is the proper/common way to install air chambers for floor mounted bath faucets?

Thank you,

They have mechanical shock arrestors that aren't as tall as the air charged. I believe you can pipe them in line

Thank both for your responses!! I will look into the arrestors.

Mike

They aren't needed for a tub/shower, only for quick close solenoid appliances like wash machine, dishwasher, and refrigerator ice maker.
