After replacing the 2 stems (washer)in the shower when I run the hot water it also starts leaking out the cold side is that washer bad or in wrong or defective?

After replacing the 2 stems (washer)in the shower when I run the hot water it also starts leaking out the cold side is that washer bad or in wrong or defective?

Tighten the packing nut on the cold side. If the stem has an o ring instead of a packing, replace the oring.
