My kitchen faucet has begun leaking very slightly from the hot water handle. I'm thinking the O-ring needs replacing but I haven't been able remove the faucet handle. No hidden set screws , no slots anywhere that i can find for an allen wrench. The faucet is at least 8 years old and has no brand name stamped on it anywhere that i can see. i have attached a photo of the offending unit.
Ideas, anyone?

Have you tried "unthreading" the base of the handle? I have seen garden tub valve handles mount in this manner, though I don't remember ever running into this on a kitchen sink faucet.

Both of you were spot on. With a little elbow grease I got the base unscrewed and I was good to go. Many Thanks for your help!
