Mozgus, I have a Paypal account, but no need for any cash or donation, I get that from my clients and customers here near Chicago.

Any advice, theories, or goofy ideas I conjure up to post on here are just me scratching my head, trying to solve some plumbing puzzles for the greater good.
And by solve, I mean sometimes I suggest a cheap and dirty alternative to an expensive but more traditional procedure.

I have been teased or ridiculed a few times on here, for my creative and crafty contributions.
My initial instinct was to respond in kind, but some of the best advice I ever got was to “be the adult in the room”.

Just keep us posted on the long term success or failure of the patch, and let history be the judge.

PS I really like that Randy Travis song.
What a shame he suffered such a medical setback after heart surgery.
I hope to sing that one soon, and will post a link here if I do.

    You are not being mocked
You are being told that your ''fix'' is a temp band-aid that is only covering a festering wound
I am not offended, I actually do not give a damn..It is your house, n--rig it all you want. What you are not listening to is over 35 years of experience telling you that smearing goop onto a cracked ABS pipe is going to fail and leak again.
Common sense should be telling you that [ in 35 years] I have tried every damn trick in the book to stop little pain in the ass leaks. It NEVER works, It always comes back to cut it out and do it right.
HERE is the truth of YOUR leak
    the pipe is cracked
when you smear goo over the crack, you are only covering the top of the crack, the crack is still there, when the foundation shifts, WHICH IT WILL houses move after it rains and the ground dries out
the goo on top of the crack is going to open up. and then.drip drip
That is why I posted the song. ''just a matter of time''
Shout out to JEFF..post that Song,I like good music,If you can warble on key, then it is good to me

Before I even listen to it, I'd say “purdy good” is a matter of opinion. Friends and relatives don't count.;)

    Now I'll listen to it.

Projection once again. I'm the one who's happy with my fix. You're the one who barged in here throwing a tantrum when you got ignored. Fill out your own forms, impudent child.
