I have to replace a grinder pump. Found one on eBay. The model number, volts, and phase all are the same. Amps are different. Old pump 12 amp. New pump 12.5. Is this an issue? Thanks for help!

If the same model number, one would think it's the same size pump.
Typically when comparing or looking at pumps it is good to also look at flow verses capacity ratings.
It sounds like you have a 3/4 to 1 HP pump assuming it's 120 volt.

I always try to find detail pump info at the manufacturers web site. Ideally, a pump performance curve, which typically shows the flow vs head capacity, efficiency and HP draw.
