1 inch tub spout diverter

Hello, i am needing to change my tub spout diverter, when i twisted it off, i have this plastic piece coming from the wall
which measures 1 inch in diameter. When i go to find a tub spout diverter, all i can find is a 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch diverter.
How do i go about finding a diverter that will fit this. Thank you for any responses

That’s part of the old spout. It needs to unscrew counterclockwise.

I believe that’s a Delta brand and under that white piece you’ll find a brass adapter with an oring.

You can leave that brass adapter. Buy another delta spout and it’ll come with a new brass adapter. Just swap the oring off the new adapter to replace the old oring. Then just screw the spout on.
