    Shower panels/glass tiles - what are your thoughts?

    We just finished up another display at our showroom and wanted to try something new. We took our shower panels and drilled some extra :cool: holes in them. We then installed the panels and proceeded to fill the holes with glass tiles. We we going for a "bubble effect. What are your thoughts?

    I would recommend an americast brand bathtub. Durable, nice looking, and half the weight!

    drain for shower

    Good call John. Very well could be an 1 1/2" drain. You will definitely need to swap that out for a 2" drain if need be. Stub it flush or about 1/4" above the slab height. Here is a helpful video on how to install a caulkless drain and shower base. Cheers and good luck with your project!

    You can't buy a shower off the shelves at a box store with that drain location. You could one of three things. A. Order a custom shower pan to have that exact drain location B. do a mudset custom tiled job (a little complicated) C. do a standard shower pan and frame a bench seat to fill the...

    Shower base install

    Replace your trap and stub up a 2" pvc pipe. Make sure the the floor is level. 2" PVC pipe should be level to a 1/4" above the floor. Here is a helpful video on how to install a shower drain and shower base. Cheers and good luck on your project!
