Pressure relief Valve and some flex hose???

Thanks for the help. I was thinking the stainless braided type hose that ya see on race cars except from plumbing department for water. I'll just plan on sweating off the old joints and figuring a way to get some copper fitting to work. I don't really like to see any 90 degree stuff but that...

Pressure relief Valve and some flex hose???

I replaced my fathers water heater and the copper pipe for the previous pressure relief valve comes out of the wall 3' up and was fine for the previous heater as the relief valve was on the top. The new one is on the side and not close enough to solder in some decent angles to get it hooked up...

You won't believe this - water leaking at bottom drain valve.

Great idea, thanks, I'll give it a shot. If I see a puddle after that I know it's time to look for a new unit.

You won't believe this - water leaking at bottom drain valve.

I know you guys won't believe this but I bought a US Craftsman 50 gal Electric water heater in 1998 and I'm still using it. How? I put a timer on it to run 2 hrs in morning and 2 at night. Anyway, I put a pan under it and it's getting some water build up. I put my finger on the water drain...

Coming down from the sink I had to use a couple of different angles to get it connected into a "Y". I used the black plastic cement and glued them all together, never had an issue...

New bathtub hardware & hot water runs out fast?

Shoot I don't know what brand it is. Gotta find a photo or the box (I'm about 500 miles away right now). The water does mix at the handle though. I pull off the handle and then the chrome cover and there is almost a little dial with gears (I think it's all plastic) and you can adjust the hot...

New bathtub hardware & hot water runs out fast?

LiQuId, Thanks for the response. I watched a video http://www.ronhazelton.com/tips/faulty_water_heater_dip_tube_-_diagnosis_and_replacement and from what I could see that would cause the cold replacement water to come in at a higher level and mix right away with the "hot" water pushing out...

New bathtub hardware & hot water runs out fast?

I just installed some new bath tub hardware fixtures and have our gas water heater (40 gal about 12 yr old) set very high temp wise. (You can almost be scalded hand washing dishes). The problem is when taking a shower the water is very hot for about 2 min then it gradually cools off to...
