I'm pretty sure the pipes are copper. I've looked via an access panel in the ceiling when poking around up there for the exhaust fan but will confirm.

It says "American Standard" on the handle. It was installed by the previous owner. (I bought the house in 2007.) I would guess early 2000's bathroom remodel. It looks pretty close to this. I tried to take a picture this morning but was having camera issues...

Right at the point where the temperature is comfortable, there is a heavy vibration in the pipes. If I set it to cold or to hot it's fine, but not in the middle. It's a single handle - not two handles. Stand-up shower. Is this something I can fix myself?
