UPDATE: I had a real plumber come in. He said that the guy got the solder so hot that it melted the pipes to my second bathroom, then he tried to fix it with duct tape. Of course the guy says he did no such thing - uuh ok. So they are going to replace the piping and hopefully that will fix...

This actually happened over a week ago and I have since taken many showers and used the water both upstairs and downstairs and the taste is still there. I figure it will take using the water in the remodeled pipes to flush it out. Thanks!
