I figured out what I have is the 1-3/8" NPSM size which makes the male thread size 1-5/8" OD. Most of these toe operated ones come with bushings to bush up from the 1-3/8"size to 1-1/2" size (about 1-3/4" OD) with a supplied bushing.

I stopped by a local builder's supply and what the package called 1-1/2" actually measures 1-3/4".....so maybe I've got something odd?

Thank you for that phone number. I talked to a local plumbing supplier late yesterday afternoon and they confirmed that the trim kits would interchange which is good news for me so I don't have to have a plumber desolder and replace the whole valve.
