    Yes I would test something first. I know it is not something I could live with. But each to their own. Just do a test and try taking a shower with a shower head removed. Then if you like that you maybe good to go.

    On well water seems to be best to go with the plastic fittings. I remember the one I did on a well about 10 years ago. Had problems with the brass fittings after only 4 years. Only job I had a problem with.

    For well water I would consider the plastic pex crimp on fittings. If cost is an issuse. goggle NIBCO 1/2" & 3/4" Block Combo PEX Crimp Tool Lot slower to use but almost fool proof. And just for one job. And gets in tight places. Long straight runs in an attic. Run thru some PVC...

    I would like to add a riser to my first D-box. The box is concrete and about 13" square. The concrete lid is the exact size of the box, so no apron around it. Has three 4" lines on three different sides. One from septic tank, one to first leach field run, and one to the next small D-Box...
