What type of spray hose connection is this?

Hello, I'm looking to remove our kitchen house sprayer from it's feed, and place a brass flare cap over it. But what kind of connection is in this picture? It's hard to get to so I want to know just how to remove it once I'm ready. And does it look like I'd be able to place a cap on it?

Is that a Moen faucet? That connector looks similar to the quick connect coupling that Moen uses for a side spray. I don't have one in front of me, but, from memory, I don't think there is a way to cap that off.
 
That is a plastic connection clip. When you bend the tabs outward to release the hose, I guarantee that you will break off the tabs. What exactly are you attempting to do? Eliminate the sprayer?
