New to the place so Hello from W. Texas.
Have removed all the cast iron drain pipe from our home. 1926 model.
My question is the pipe under the toilet I'm told is a closet bend ???? .
Sites seem to bring up cast iron closet bend but am going back with PVC.
What should I look for to replace the closet bend in PVC ??

Would a 90 sweep or 90 el (I think it's called) do the job?

Distance from center of flange to drain stack is no more than 2 feet.

Terminology of parts and such gets me in alot of trouble at times.
Thought I d ask.

Thanks for time Respects WP50 David

use a 4x3 90
with 4'' up through the floor
then cut the 4'' pipe off flush with the finished floor
install a 4x3 closet collar INTO the 4'' pipe
secure to the floor using brass screws
DO NOT use steel screws
the acid in human pee pee will eat the steel screws up but will not eat the brass

I am showing ABS and PVC it is just the stock image i have, use the same type of pipe do
not mix match
