I have a Delta shower pan ready to install on a concrete floor. It says it uses a "Uses standard shower drain with 4-1/4 in. strainer" . I have a 2" ABS pipe connected to the P-trap and requisite drains under the concrete (inspected and approved) sticking up a foot.
I'm ready to install this pan but need to buy the right drain that I can install on the pan and connect to the drain line, and "standard shower drain" isn't quite enough information. What I DON'T want is some drain that I have to install on the pan as it goes down and try to glue it to the drain line all at once. Not only would that be difficult, but without giving the pipe a twist it wouldn't glue right.
Can someone point me to a drain that will install and seal from the top after the pan is bedded in?
