One of our bathrooms has a wall-mount toilet that's probably 50 years old. The tank is on the bathroom wall (not behind the wall.) It has a round bowl and a mounted depth of less than 16". This is a great depth for its location.

We had major plumbing done last year, and the mounting bracket was damaged. No one has been able to find another, so it's not mounted as well as it could be. We considered just converting to a floor-mount toilet, but none are shallow enough.

So we have to either find the right mounting accessories, or find another wall-mount toilet that comes with the proper mounting parts and is the right depth. (And has a visible tank! We're not a public restroom with an alley behind the toilet wall for servicing!)

Any ideas?

I think they are talking about a wall hung tank with a 2" flush ell connecting tank and bowl ,if that's the case you should be able to replace with a modern toilet, just measure off of the wall to the center of the flange and that will give you your rough it's gonna be 10,12,or 14" 12 is most common
