To get better results You're going to need to take the handle adapter off, turn water off, remove the stem, and take a picture of it.

How do I take handle adaptor off?

There appears to be a screw at the end of the adapter. Remove it and the adapter should pull off. It may be stuck on there so you may have wiggle as you pull to help break it free.
