I think it will work well, Obviously not something you bring on a backpacking trip but will work well for big gatherings.

Brewing tomorrow, here is the yeast I am using.
7 1/2 lbs of pale 2 row malt.
And 1 lb of 10L crystal malt.

What Hops are you using?
I just ran through one of my kegs and now have to brew again.

Normally for this brew I use Goldings, but the only Goldings I have is really old so I am using Chinook and Cascade.
Using my kettle gauge to see how much water I have, the kettle is on the propane burner.
Grain is ground, and strike water is coming up to temp.
The mash cooler, strike water is up to temperature, and my mash paddle.
The mash start temp. I was shooting for 155, but got 152. Normally I would adjust, but I am going for a low stress brew day, so 152 it is. Put it to sleep for an hour.
Drawing off the first wort.
And heating the sparge water.
Drew off 5 gallons of wort at a gravity of 1.047. 1.044 on the hydrometer, temp adjusted to 1.047.

Looks good. I need to brew this week, I just ran through one of my kegs.
Boil started at high noon. You can tell I am being lazy, I just dumped the 1/2oz of Chinook directly into the boil.
