a friend of mine has a fancy whirlpool dishwasher

it is just a bit big for the space.

when I took a look at it, i noticed the door springs were off. that was not her complaint though, it was that it was leaking.

I think the door fell and may have bent the tub.

It was just a small stream of water when I tested it.
it did not look like the seal.

I took it all the way out. (I used to install them for home depot)
and looked at it.

there may be a wee bit of tub damage.
the frame showed signs of abuse too.

it looks just a bit spit here... i almost want to squish with pliars..

also, having the springs back on might help keep door more closed.

I just fear door falling split something... if its a light bend, i can bend it back.

suggestions?
I cant afford to let it leak here. i might offer to trade it for another one because it is so nice other than the legs and the little leak

Trade it for another
I am going to test it for sure... A leaking dishwasher can cause a lot of damage.

I think I'll hook up an extension cord and an extra long hose. (it has pex compression right onto the elbow, which I had never seen before, made it hard to remove) and run it outside the cabinet.
