Hi all. I've got a leaky faucet on an older house and am trying to figure out how to disassemble it and who made it.
House was built in 1947-48, and I would guess it's original to that time.
I'm somewhat familiar with the way the washer and seat style faucets, but want to have parts on hand if possible before I tear into this.
Flat cap covers a phillips head screw. Pull the screw out and the plastic part comes off, but under that is a metal cap. I'm guessing it just pulls off but don't want to tear things up if possible taking it apart.
