I want to put in a dishwasher but need to move a drain to make room in the cabinet. I plan to go below the floor right next to the existing trap. That'll open up the 2 feet or so of pipe that travels vertically into the space I need.

I'm thinking I can make a new drain connection below the house.
My question is: Can I use the flexible rubber sleeve and clamps to make the connections (or 2) for the type of pipe I have, PVC to black iron?

I'm thinking to save money(buy less piping), I'll tap in just below the floor. OR, do you think I should try to make a PVC connection to the other PVC near the bottom with some sort of "V". The washer drain is currently tapped in close to the bottom:

Hopefully this was clear.
Any insight would be helpful.
Thanks!
