Hi there,
I need to replace my kitchen faucet, but it is difficult to remove the current one.
it has a strange mount and the basin wrench will not work. I am not sure what faucet model this is, it maybe a model from 2014/2015.
What can I use to loosen this from the bottom? I want to avoid any method that will ruin the sink and ideally I do not want to take the whole sink out. Is there a tool?
I am not sure, it kind of looks like it has also been glued on? Would I need to resort to a metal cutting tool? If so what would be the best one?

I believe it uses an Allen wrench from the top side to loosen it, then it lifts off from the top.

So, I would use an Allen wrench on the top part of the faucet? See attached pic?

Look for a set screw on the faucet above the sink.

Look for a small set screw somewhere in this area.

If you don’t find one, take the handle off and see if there’s a hole where an Allen screw could hide.

Put the pull out spray back into it’s position and take me a good pic of the faucet

Here it is with the sprayer.

I believe it comes off from the top with an Allen wrench.

start taking it apart from the top looking fit a hole that runs vertical that could contain an Allen screw. If you find it, turn it counterclockwise to loosen the faucet.

I took the plug off on the handle, but I am having trouble taking off the top of the handle with the Allen wrench. I may need to get a smaller set of wrenches to test them out. Otherwise, can I use a strap wrench to start to pull it apart from the top?

Look for a small set screw someplace on the silver ring with the red arrow pointing to it. B83668D4-6C26-4A13-B747-9DD67149CAFE.jpeg

o_O:) Thank you so much!! This is super helpful!! Knowing what faucet it is helped find a site that sells the part I needed (the sprayer, it was leaking) and I just ordered it. If it works I won’t need to replace it! But if I end up replacing it, it’s just the video I need!! Thank you very much!

I was a landlord for 30 years; learned to use simple, easy to repair / replace hardware & plumbing fixtures.
Never kitchen faucets with spray attachment, or pull-out sprayer. That kept the 2-in-the-morning, "It just broke and water's everywhere !!" calls to Zero, and would keep repairs like this one, from ever happening. just gotta be able to spray the corners of the sink? Easily replaceable swivel aerator hasn't busted yet.

Thank you! That is a useful tip!
My place came with the faucet/sprayer that gave me trouble, but it is good to know for future reference.
