Would Quikrete Mortar Mix do the job also?

I’ve never used that. The sand topping mix is mortar mix with sand added I think.


The key factor is that I can pour my sand topping mix up to 2” thick.

I spread it out 2" to 3" thick before I set the tub on it but the space under the tub was only like 3/4"
