I had a guy to install a soaker tub and faucet in my master bathroom. He jumped ship before job was barely started.

So now instead of being out any more money, I figured I would try and do it myself. I am adept at plumbing work - but have never installed a tub before. I've never installed a freestanding faucet either.

Here are some pictures of what is done:

Pictures :

1) hole in floor for free standing faucet
2) upper shot of hole
3) area for tub drain (above air duct)
4) under floor shot of #3 (note air vent )
5) under floor shot of hole for faucet (note proximity to hoist)
6) close up of #4

What should I do? I'm not sure if all mounts for free standing faucets are the same.

Every free standing faucet is different. ONLY buy well known brands and not weird name imports.
Note: 1/2" water supply will take forever to fill the tub.
Is your water heater big enough for the tub volume?

We have a 50g heater and I have a 3/4 supply line going to the tub!

The brand I believe is Wyndham collection

Flow at the tub faucet is what you may want to be concerned with.
Capacity: One only gets 75% of the listed gallons of hot water before the temperature starts dropping as cold water mixes into the bottom of the water heater. Check recommendations for your tub.

Can you share the faucet brand and model. I also don’t follow the tub drain picture. I am guessing tub drain is not installed
