I have an old cabin. The septic is plumbed to the (one) bathroom. The kitchen has a separate drain field with no tank. I'm not sure of the size/capacity of the septic system, so I'd rather not plumb the kitchen into it if I don't have to.
Has anyone used something like an NDS drywell or NDS StormChamber for kitchen waste? I'm curious how long it can be used before it fails, and if it can be cleaned out.
