Greetings forum, I'm seeking 2018 Uniform Plumbing Code information.
In brief, the condominium complex where I reside and serve as the HOA President recently completed the rebuilding of 4 units that had been destroyed by a fire.
Our Master Insurance policy contains funds that are available in addition to the settlement we already received, if during the project there were activities that were required due to code changes.
The damaged units were originally built in 1983.
The insurance adjuster has requested that we cite the code article that forced the upgrade.
So far, as it relates to the plumbing work specifically, I know of three upgrades.
Water Heater Drain Pans
Pressure Balance Ball Valves at the water heater-Maybe 608.0?
Outside Wall, Water Line Insulation for freeze protection -Maybe 603.4.7?
Is there someone here who has a copy of the 2018 UPC willing to help with these citations?
