Hi,

A friend and I are fixing a couple leaks in the water input line and the drain pipe (going into the wall) on a sink with plumbing from 1907. I'm not familiar with rates for servicing such old plumbing, but I know that we should be charging (my landlord) a bit more since the plumbing is so old.

Does anyone have any idea what this type of work should cost?

No one can tell you what to charge. You are doing the work, you set the rate. I have never charged more for "since the plumbing is so old." That is why it is being repaired.

$150.00 trip charge, $100.00 an hour plus a 50% mark up on material

if your licensed, if not, $20.00
