What replacement for Grohe shower trim kit?

I'd like to replace our old Grohe shower trim kit with something new, but how do I know which models will fit the existing valve? The new ones all seem to use the GrohSafe 3.0 valve which is different than what I have. Pics attached.

You have the original Grohsafe pb valve 35 250 series. Newer similar series is 35 015001. "Possibly" the trim for the 35015 rough will fit. Quadra is the obsolete trim series... 19 702 000 Discontinued.
I see if you wanted it in brushed nickel, Chicago Faucet Shoppe.com sells it for $419. plus shipping

If you call Lixil (Owner of Grohe, American Standard & some other names), they can confirm if the trim you choose will fit.


Should you decide the change the valve, they can help you pick one with the same rough-in so you might be able to work from the front with no tile damage needed. (They've got some where the rough-in box stays and the valve can be changed to one of many choices. Maybe yours is one of those.)

I don't know what country you are in, so instead of the USA number, attached is a list of all of Lixil's tech support numbers for the Grohe line.

I think I see the product on the website you mentioned: Grohe - 19264EN0. However it says its discontinued so I can't actually purchase it.
