Hi,
I'm looking to identify the brand on this 1.5" pvc ball handle cap. The handle is cracked but what Home Depot carries isn't compatible. It's for pool equipment so I hate to replace the whole thing. Thanks!

Made in China. That says it all. Please take a picture of the actual ball valve for us. Mine are American made, and if the handle breaks, you must replace the entire ball valve.

Oh gotcha. Here's a few more pictures.

It is the chlorine and sunlight that eats up those valves. As far as I know, the handle is not replaceable but maybe, just maybe, those Chinese have some sort of key that you can pull out to replace the handle? I myself have never seen those Chinese ball valves.

So the handle comes off no problem but you're probably right that I'm not going to be able to find a proper replacement handle. With all of the elbows sandwiched together, do I pretty much have to rebuild this whole section since there isn't any straight pipe left to attach to? (pic attached)

They do have "Socket Saver" pipe reamers so you can utilize many of the same parts, but regardless, it doesn't sound fun. I also have a few broken handles that I myself have to replace, but since they are not critical, I'll just wait until I need to do some major retrofitting, or maybe a new pool filter.

By the way, next time install Jandy valves, since they are all rebuildable.
