I found this article. Says you can drill anywhere on the panel of the engineered joist except the through the top and bottom ribs.
You still might want to check with the manufacture of the joist.
 
Been told from another experienced plumber that its OK. So My boss wasnt sure if im to close to the bim or no. The joist are the thin ones and the holes are 1 1/8". Thats approx 10" far from the bim
 
I used that bit bcoz i couldnt find the 1" bit. I usually use 1" bit for 3/4" pex and 3/4" bit for 1/2" pex. Thanks for the replies :)
