Vanity moen rough in can’t tighten

Guys having trouble tightening nit for rough in on vanity? Maybe this should be in the tool section. The nut is in the cut out of vanity can’t get tool in there. Any ideas on how I can tighten nut or another idea in general.

I’d remove all that wood. It should’ve never been left there like that as you see the problem it’s causing.

Normally there’s just the stone top, not the wood there with holes drilled in it. Somebody didn’t know what they were doing.
