I am getting rid of the gray plastic supply lines to the kitchen faucet. Going to use 3/8 copper. Picked up a 3/8 OD to 1/2 FIP (Watts LFA-118) to connect to the faucet lines. Needed to get a of coil 3/8 OD copper. All they had was type UT. He said that was OK for water supply. Is Type UT Ok for this job to replace the crappy gray plastic lines?

Thanks. I am taking this type UT back to Lowes. It was a 10 ft coil. They had no type L. I'll check with a few local hardware stores.

No thanks for that steel braided line. The sales guy tried to sell me that also. I want copper. No gray plastic, no plastic tubing inside rubber inside a steel braided line.
