I have a 3" ABS out of my finished floor to install my toilet. since the floor is finished, I can't just install a standard 3" toilet flange....i was hoping to be able to get some form of insertable flange, that would install inside the 3" pipe.

all I've been able to find are twist in flange with a rubber gasket, but all of those also carry a label "cast iron replacement"... so I'm a little scared to insert for fear of cracking my abs

I'm sure I can't be the first to run into this... anyone else have experience amd know whether the twist in is a good or bad idea?

They do make them, I thought i’ve Seen em at the Home Depot’s . However I thought the elbow made for a flange is larger diameter and you then put the flange on which makes 3” Finished dimension.
Also there many different types of flange, I’d go to your professional plumbing store. I’m sure there is something.

The cast iron is 3” typically I wouldn’t think it will crack the ABS.

The alternative is to chip /cut out the floor and replace all new.
You might be able to have the toilet hide the patch work.
