Tub-Shower valve need Longer Stems

replaced the 1974 in wall 3 handle tub filler w/ shower valve.
Price Pfister 01-30WV was the only thing Home Depot had.
The stems are about 2" shorter than the original.
Thus the deep chrome handles won't fit and neither will the escutcheons.

Suggestions for different brand/model with longer stems or are there available longer stems for this model or stem extenders??

Check out HD Supply, they have a large supply of stems for price phister and specalize in maintenance parts for older buildings.

Make sure valve is not set to far in wall. Try a fergusons pipe and supply they will have what you need for price phister

I agree with journeyman.. Hansghrohe is better than Grohe.. Have more models..with ibox by hansgrohe you can mount almost all models.. It's quickly and simply..Grohe has only two good models.. Grotherm1000 and grotherm3000
