I have an older Sayco faucet, I have no access panel to it. I replaced the stems and seat on the hot about a year ago. Works great now I have done the same for the cold side. Worked for about 3 months. I replaced the washer and it is doing worse it seems. I know it is probably a really old faucet and should be replaced, but that is more of a job than I want to tackle. Any tricks to get it to hold in there a little longer? Sometimes it will stop dripping for a while, then it will start back up. I am so confused:(

They allow water to flow when turned left and stop flow when turned all the way right.

They regulate the flow volume in between on and off.
Thank you so much for giving me this suggestion. I bought it and put it in this weekend. So far so good!! I was at my wits end. I can put off replacing the whole fixture a little longer. It is so much smoother turning on and off. Thanks again much appreciated.
