Hello all, hope everyone is doing well. I have a tub drain issue. I noticed a good size leak where it connects to the septic tank. It seems there should be some connector but there isnt one. Any help greatly appreciated

The piece you are pointing to is threaded into that tee of the tub drain. You'll have to dig that all out so you can see
how it is tyed into the p- trap

To be honest, i dont know how the metal pipe would connect. Seems the threaded ring that connects to the tub should be on the septic pipe?

Ok, got the T out. It was broken from the drain in the as well. Apparently there was a old plastic bag and that was used to fill gap where it was leaking. How do i get the connected drain in tub out? And how can i connect the drain pipe back to the T
