Toilets Not flushing...just seeping out.

When I flush my toilet(s) the bowl fills up, but wont flush out, it just slowly seeps. I took toilet off the floor and was surprised to see an empty drain pipe. I snaked about 8 feet of empty drain pipe. ?? There is plenty of space for toilet to flush out and into this. Why would this be happening?

Did you check and see if there was a blockage in the actual toilet?

Thank you. You were absolutely right. I took the toilets off, snaked the drains, pumped out tank and snaked from that end. Got very frustrated. Thanks for sharing your experience. Kind of embarrassing. Learning the hard way. Thanks again.

I hate match box cars, for some reason they wind up in the car wash a lot.
