Oatey, makes a large size range of AAVs, from 6 to 500-DFU (Drain Fixture Units), with a residential toilet having a rating of 5-DFU. So, the parts are available, and the IPC, and UPC both allow it.

well i am not sure i need it for the toilet but i have a shower and vanity that i am moving that i may need to use a AVV for those becuase it may be too far from the existing vent. Stupid question.. can you have a AVV and a normal vent on the same drain line. the normal vent is close to the toilet, the AVV will be farther away.
