I am building a cabin in VT. The property has an existing well. I installed a new pressure tank, switch and all new fittings. I hooked up the pump to my generator, the 220 side, and the pump is surging to the point where it drains the pressure tank and then I have nothing coming out until the pump turns back on What could be the cause of this. I've looked in my wiring in my wiring seems to be correct
