Super High Pressure in Shower

One shower in my house has super high water pressure, to the extend that the shower cannot drain fast enough to avoid pooling of water in shower. The house is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath. The shower in the second bathroom has normal water pressure. Kitchen sink, bathroom faucets, exterior water faucets all have normal water pressure.

Will greatly appreciate any suggestions on what may be the cause and solution.

I would guess that someone has removed the flow restricting orifice in the shower head. what shower head do you have with that Moen valve?

I looks like a standard Moen.

A 20" plastic drain cleaner/snake pulled out what looks to be a mid sized critter from the shower drain, aka hair clog. This resolved the slow drain issue. For the excessive water pressure, the shower head had a broken flow restricting orifice. I replaced the shower head and installed a push button flow reducer between the shower head and shower arm - thanks for the tip @MicEd69.
