I have a dripping outdoor faucet. I can not get the nut out of the handle. I've used liqued wrench and it didn't do any good its still stuck. My hands are killing me from trying to remove it. Also should the nut turn to the right or left. I've got the kit to repair it and ready to go but that nut is so stuck!Any help out there? Thanks :(

Most of the time the nut will have hash marks on each flat side, indicating which direction to tighten.

Hash mark present=turn to the left to tighten
No hash mark=turn to the right to tighten.

You will see this on propane tanks, regulators etc.

Hope that helps
