sink sewage odor

I had a contractor install a vanity sink of mine. The sink has been leaking sewage air ever since it has been installed.

I provided pictures below. What do you think the problem is? The trap installed came with the vanity/sink. Thanks

You live in the usa? I so rip out that trap and replace with a real p trap

Put a real p trap in. Traps hold water so that sewer gasses go through the vent and not into your house. Put a trap in and problem solved.
