My 'seventies style Crane triangular pink sink [17 by 20 inches] has a cream coloured gasket around its rim. It has developed a two to three inch tear along one of its sides.
I have tried to find a source for these gaskets but they seem to be available only with the purchase of a new sink.
The gasket is not leaking water through to the underside of the sink because the tear is above the countertop surface. The issue is a cosmetic one.
Are these gaskets available anywhere or will I have to just close up the tear with some caulking compound or rubber glue?
