Hi, newbie here

Would there be a problem with adding an on demand electrical water heater in series with a electric tank water hearer?
I want to preheat the water before it enters the tank heater.

We have opened a Airbnb in our home and there is just not enough hot water.

We have no room under the house in our tight crawl space and the attic is just impractical given the room between trusses to install a water heater.

Our existing heater is a 40 gallon heater that is tucked under a stair well and there is no room there either.

I know that all this explanation is unnecessary. I am just interested in if it can be done and any problems that might come up.

Do you have gas available where you live?

The electrical amperage, wiring, breakers, etc, needed to operate an electric tankless is quite "shocking".

No I don't have availability of gas here without going the route of purchasing tanks, lines and flue installation.

I do have a brother in law who is a electrician.
